  • No Claim Discount ProtectionWe will not reduce your No Claim Discount unless more than two claims happen over five consecutive periods of insurance.
  • Windscreen Cover (Comprehensive cover only)We cover loss of or damage to the windscreen, windows and the glass sunroof of your van.
  • Personal Effects (Comprehensive cover only)We cover loss of or damage to personal possessions in or on your van up to the amount shown as ‘Personal items’ in your schedule. We will pay you or, if you prefer, the owner of the property.
  • Temporary Hire VanWe will supply a hire van for the maximum period chosen by you whilst your van is being repaired at one of our Recommended Repairers. 3 cover options available: 7 Days, 14 Days or 21 Days.
  • In-Van ElectronicsCovers audio, telephone, satellite navigation systems and visual entertainment equipment that are not part of your vehicles original specification fitted by the manufacturer or dealer from first registration.

If you own and drive a van rather than a car as your principal means of transport then we have an insurance policy that's just right for you. Our great value SD&P Van insurance covers you and any named drivers cover for driving your van, for SD&P use (including commuting use at no extra cost).

SD&P Van insurance is particularly suitable if you use your van for a hobby where you need to transport your equipment, for example para-gliding, surfing, diving or fishing. MORE TH>N BUSINESS is one of very few insurers who offer this specialist van insurance so if you have a van and you don't need any business use cover then our SDP van insurance is tailor-made for you.

To qualify for our Social, Domestic and pleasure van insurance your vehicle must be a small goods carrying vehicle (not a minibus), maximum 3.5 tonnes GVW and must not be used for any business purpose. Don't worry - if you do use your van for a business purpose, we also offer van insurance with business use and our Business use policies even give free SD&P usage!
