What does Landlords Insurance actually cover?

We can cover buildings, rent, property owners' liability and even employers' liability on this project for any buildings that you own and rent out.

Does it matter if I occupy some of the building myself?

We are happy to provide this cover as long as you do not occupy more than 50% of the building yourself.

Does your Landlords Insurance cover more than one property?

MORE TH>N BUSINESS Landlords insurance can be arranged to cover 2 properties on-line but up to 10 if you call our Customer Managers on 0800 294 2416. Similarly, we can arrange rental property insurance and property owner's liability insurance on multiple buildings owned by you.

The building I wish to insure is partly constructed of a different material to those listed on the eligibility screen. Can you still help me?

Yes! Please call one of our experienced Customer Managers on 0800 294 2416 to discuss further. Whilst we cannot guarantee that we will be able to insure you we will certainly consider all scenarios.

Do you offer direct debit payments?

Yes, and even better we offer a 0% interest direct debit facility on all our MORE TH>N BUSINESS products!

I have been in business for many years with no claims, will this be reflected in the premium you quote?

Yes, we take into account the years you have been in business and your previous claims experience to help us calculate a competitive, personalised premium for your business.

I can't find the correct building occupancy from the drop down list on the web. What should I do?

Give one of our Customer Managers a call on 0800 294 2416 who will be happy to discuss this with you further over the telephone.

Does the premium quoted include all taxes?

Yes - all premiums quoted by us include Insurance Premium Tax (IPT), at the current rate. The final premium you see on screen is the premium you pay.

Once I have confirmed cover on the web can I call you to make changes in the future?

Yes, you can call us at anytime either for web assistance or once you have gone on cover and for any policy amendments. The freephone number is 0800 294 2416. Customer managers are available from 8.00am until 8.00pm Monday to Friday and from 8.00am until 4.00pm on a Saturday.

Apart from Van where following our May 2008 rate review over 10% of customers could pay at least 25% less. Half price breakdown is available to customers buying a Van or Business Car policy starting on or before 31st December 2008. Standalone breakdown is not available.
